Huge site, you won’t be on top of each other.
Calm and peaceful with great facilities.
Bathroom have mosquitoes net which keep them away from any insects and no need for electronics doors like in other places.
Kitchen fully equipped and the hot water boiler was a must for easy breaky.
It got quite wet one night but had no issue to move the campervan
Nice campground although unfortunately windy and dusty.
Distinct aroma of sewerage could be detected in the camp ground and out on the water.
The walking track was in a state of long-term disrepair and the boat ramp at the dam is not maintained and was very difficult to use.
The public boat ramp was excellent.
However, the dam itself is lovely environment and we a good time on the water.
Nice quiet spot, great spot for fishing, although busy did not seem to be an issue with noise. Will be back again, one of my favourite spots I call into on my way through to Cairns. Sort of a hidden gem, amenities clean and adequate,,great service
Nice park close to the lake but no views of the lake unless you book one of the cabins or holiday houses. Grounds kept nice. Plenty of bins. Fires allowed. Non powered areas with one for generators. Limited powered sites, good size grassy …
Traveling solo with caravan, drive through site. Very clean and well maintained amenities, very hot showers with great pressure. Very quiet, need to book coming into school holidays, gets very busy really quickly. Lovely bush setting, pet friendly but must be on a leash and clean up after your pet. Stayed one night as I was on my way home but would like to return in the future for a couple of days.
Convenient to Lake Monduran for boating, the park is large with very good amenities. Camp kitchens are both well equipped. We camped and so cannot comment on powered sites.
We booked especially to use our kayaks, but unfortunately this was impossible, as we were unable to do so, being too far from the water.
If you are a fisher with a boat, great, but no boat & just a caravan, forget it.
So many caravaners left after just one night.
Really disappointed & left two days earlier than booked, stifling hot during the day & so cold at night.
Wont be returning!!!
Prices for sites are getting expensive but its the extra person and changes in rates thats makes it expensive.
The park is very dry and unloved. Very dusty due to not being watered. No grass. The grounds and gardens need watering.
The amenities don't get cleaned daily. It's not unclean just could be better. I've seen this place alot better.
The next statement is not the parks fault but there was a function from some caravan club this week and those people are so up themselves. Very ignorant and unfriendly. Do they realise they are in the same location paying the same money. Grow up
